A baby and a new home in a fortnight

A COUPLE HAVE FOUND THE BEST ADDRESS TO RAISE A FAMILY AFTER THEY MOVED INTO THEIR NEW HOME AND WELCOMED THEIR FIRST CHILD WITHIN A FORTNIGHT.

Sylvia and Peter Whitelee left their apartment in the centre of Leicester and moved into a four-bedroom Solent property on the company’s Rothley Meadows’ development in May, just 12 days before their little daughter Grace, entered the world.

The couple first visited the development last year, when Sylvia was just eight weeks pregnant and they were making plans for their future as a family.

They had already visited other developments before seeing what William Davis Homes had to offer and loved Rothley’s location, close to the River Soar and near to the village centre.

It was a far cry from city life and their minds were made up within minutes of visiting a Solent show home at William Davis Homes’ Buttercup Fields development in nearby Shepshed.

Designed for family living and boasting a combined kitchen and dining area and separate lounge, the Solent is perfect for the next stage in their lives – they even identified which room would make a perfect nursery for their newborn baby.

Sylvia and Peter moved into their new home at the start of May and were still unpacking when they took delivery of the most precious package of all – their healthy, happy 6 lb 11 oz baby, Grace.

A few weeks later, a steady stream of friends and relatives have already visited to meet Grace and take a tour around their new home. Sylvia says they are settling in nicely – and Peter has already got designs on creating a nursery fit for their little princess.

She said: “We love the village feel of Rothley Meadows and we’ve got family living nearby, so it’s a perfect location and much better for bringing up a family than our apartment in Leicester.

“Everyone has commented on the finish of the home and of the size of the garden compared to other new build homes, but what made a big difference to us was the way in which William Davis Homes made everything so easy for us.

“Everything happened so quickly and it’s been so surreal, but I still remember how nice the feeling was to bring Grace back from hospital and know we were making it a real family home.”

Sally Brookes, Senior Sales Manager, said: “We’re all so excited for Sylvia and Peter and very proud that they have chosen our Rothley development as the perfect place to bring up Grace.”

Rothley Meadow’s Denwick and Lea show homes are available to view daily from 11am to 5pm and William Davis Homes has a range of purchasing options available, including Help to Buy and Part Exchange.
