The Dishley Grange Medical Practice is just a few minutes’ walk from Daisy Bank, and a quick drive will take you to doctors’ surgeries, dental practices, and nearby Loughborough Hospital.


If you’re looking for high street shops and groceries nearby Loughborough has lots of choice, and the development is also just half an hour’s drive from Nottingham’s city centre. For vegetables and other produce you’ll find a few farm shops in and around Hathern.


Relax in one of Hathern’s village pubs, take a walk around the local park, or hop on a bus into Loughborough where you’ll find gyms, a cinema, and plenty of restaurants and bars.

Get moving with a fitness class at Hathern’s very own Viking Fitness Centre, join in with the village’s sports teams or try rowing at nearby Loughborough Boat Club. Outside of the village Loughborough Leisure Centre will keep the whole family busy, and there are multiple gyms in town.


Hathern Park is within easy walking distance of Daisy Bank, and the play area and picnic sites are perfect for families. Travel a little further afield to take a walk through Charnwood Lodge Nature Reserve.

Choose one of Hathern’s village pubs for your new local, or head to one of the surrounding villages for traditional pub food. Visit Loughborough or nearby Nottingham for varied bars and restaurants when you’re looking for something special.
