William Davis was founded in 1935 and today is one of the region's largest privately owned building companies actively involved in partnership housing, commercial development, urban regeneration, land & planning, general contracting and private housing.
Our activities span across all the property sectors from office developments, industrial units and retail, through to student accommodation, education and healthcare amongst others.
The financial strength of the company is a significant benefit, allowing us to effectively manage risk, as well as being a reassuring characteristic for our partners and clients.
We have a directly employed team of over 500 highly skilled tradesmen, apprentices, managers, building professionals and support staff. In addition there are a number of contractors with a strong commitment to our various teams in their endeavours and achievements. Perhaps that's why over the years we've received so many awards from the industry and, more importantly, accolades from our customers and partners.
